Less than two weeks into the year, and two monumental milestones are already behind me. The journey began with a commitment to health, taking a rejuvenating pause at the Buchinger Wilhelmi Clinic, before diving into the year’s adventures. My first flight ✈️ of the year landed me in Dubai, a city of endless possibilities and a fitting stage for showcasing my life’s work
Champagne Les Cinq Filles
Thanks to Ugo Calia « Vi Sion Consultancy » and the exceptional Dani García Group, the day was a celebration of artistry and excellence. The stage was set at SmokedRoom and Leña, where Head Sommelier Ugo Calia guided us through a double feature that highlighted the harmony between exquisite cuisine and the essence of our Champagne.







A Perfect Pairing: Champagne Meets Culinary Mastery
The afternoon began with an intimate 10-course lunch at SmokedRoom, where my cuvée found its match in Dani García’s Michelin-starred creations led by head chef Jesús Lobato. The spotlight of the lunch was on the collaboration with Nina Højgaard Jensen, Denmark’s celebrated head sommelier, leading expert in wines. Nina’s deep understanding of wine and her passion for exceptional pairings elevated the experience. Each dish, crafted to perfection, revealed a new layer of complexity in Champagne Les Cinq Filles, from its crisp acidity to its velvety texture.
The room buzzed with appreciation as the menu unfolded, a symphony of flavors that told the story of dedication—from the chefs in the kitchen to the vineyard where it all begins. Together, we demonstrated the extraordinary interplay between fine Champagne and world-class gastronomy.
The Evening Celebration: Champagne Superstars Unite
As the day turned to evening, the stage expanded. Over 200 guests—champagne aficionados, industry experts, competitors, and enthusiasts—gathered for a glamorous soirée. The event was more than a tasting; it was a celebration of heritage, innovation, ambition and friendships.
Champagne Les Cinq Filles, a labor of love named after my daughters, captivated the crowd. Its story resonated deeply—a legacy born from a mother’s dream to create the world’s most tasteful champagne. Guests sipped, savored, and shared their admiration, many returning for another pour, eager to prolong the moment.
The atmosphere was electric as conversations flowed, connections were forged, and praise was generously given. The soiree became a testament to what can be achieved when quality meets passion.

This evening was not just a celebration of Champagne; it was a personal milestone. It was a moment to reflect on the journey—one that has demanded resilience, creativity, and an unyielding commitment to excellence. Champagne Les Cinq Filles represents more than a drink; it is a story, a legacy, and a dream fulfilled.
As I look ahead, I feel invigorated by the possibilities that lie before me. This year, less than 10 days in, has already proven to be transformative, with Dubai as the sparkling starting point.
